A fast charger is only as good as the circuit behind it. Before we mount anything, we make sure your home can feed it safely — the right wire, a free breaker slot, and enough headroom on the panel.

Get these four things right and your charger runs at full speed, cool, and to code.

  • A 240-volt dedicated circuit — a “home run” wire that serves only the charger — from your panel to the unit.
  • An open double-pole slot on the bus bar for a new breaker.
  • A panel with enough capacity per a load calculation — many older 100-amp panels need an upgrade first.
  • A safe mounting spot, usually the garage or an exterior wall.
