Level 1 (the slow plug): the cord that comes with your car. It plugs into a normal 120-volt wall outlet and adds about 3–5 miles of range per hour — not enough overnight for most drivers.

A 240-volt dedicated circuit — a “home run” wire that serves only the charger — from your panel to the unit.
An open double-pole slot on the bus bar for a new breaker.
